a personal confession + what to expect in 2026

It’s official: We are in a new year.

I hope you had a wonderful 2025. And if the past year could have been better for you, I am raising a glass to an amazing, fresh start for you and your family in 2026.

As we kick off this year, I want to be completely honest with you.

I don't like telling people I'm a realtor.

There, I said it.

I usually hesitate because of the stereotypical, generic concept that pops into people's minds (and unfortunately, it’s often not in a great light).

But the truth is, I am not here to "sell" you.

I am here to curate the most current, valuable information you need to make the best decisions possible.

My goal is to make your life easier and better, not to sell you on anything.

As I spend my days looking through the pipeline of upcoming projects—stunning units, functional layouts that families can actually use, and amenities that just keep getting better— I have to confess something else to you.

I currently live in a house in Lytton Park with my wife and our two boys (ages 6 and 3). It’s a lovely area, but my wife and I REALLY miss condo life.

We see so much value in it. In the right unit and the right building, it doesn’t just feel like a home; it serves you better as a home.

We miss getting our time back. We miss simply being with each other rather than shoveling, salting, picking up leaves, cutting grass, and constantly looking out for what needs to be maintained or repaired next.

We miss the lifestyle:

The Light: Large floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing views and tons of sunlight.

The Walkability: Being steps away from everything you need rather than driving everywhere.

The Amenities: Having a gym or lounge right inside your home.

The Comfort: Heated underground parking (we all know why that is amazing right now!).

The Peace of Mind: 24-hour concierge, security, and the sense of community found in a great end-user building.

We loved it before kids, we loved it with one kid, and honestly?

We miss it now with two kids!

What you can expect from me in 2026

New Year’s Day always feels a little quieter to me. Less noise. Less urgency. A small pause before everything starts moving fast again. It’s usually when I think about what matters most, and how I want to show up in the year ahead.

So I wanted to share what you can expect from me in 2026:

- Educational, thoughtful content that’s actually useful.

Information that’s clear, detailed, and tailored to real people making real decisions. No fluff. No noise. Just guidance designed to help you think clearly and confidently.

- An inside look you normally don’t get.

Videos from inside units, presentation centres, model suites, and neighbourhood walks, so you can truly understand a building and a lifestyle before ever stepping foot inside.

- Private and first access to the best buildings in Midtown Toronto.

A curated list of projects from York Mills to Yorkville that stand out for quality, livability, design, and long-term value. Not everything, just the ones worth paying attention to.

- A brand that feels human.

Present, personal, and grounded. Focused on the best type of living possible, walkable living, in the best neighbourhoods Toronto has to offer. What I share comes from empathy, experience, and genuinely caring about how people live.

If we haven't met or spoken yet, please say hi.

I really look forward to connecting with you and meeting you this year.

Happy New Year!
